How to apply?

The call for entries for the third edition of the Work Award is open until 31 March 2017.

Candidates are invited to read the Work Award regulations before completing the application form in order to ensure they meet all the criteria.

Who is it for?

The Work Award is aimed at any professional or group of professionals designing an art project that integrates fine crafts in an innovative and contemporary way.

It recognises a work at the design stage; works already under construction or completed are ineligible.

Candidates are selected according to the following criteria: plastic quality of the proposed work, capacity for innovation, detail and accuracy of the budget, work schedule limited to nine months.

Endowment of the award

The Ateliers d'Art de France Foundation offers an endowment of up to €60,000, which is divided up as follows:

  • Up to €40,000 given to the award-winner to fund the cost of creating the work.
  • €20,000 for organising and financing a communication campaign showing the process of creating the work and associated publicity.

The Foundation also promises to display the award-winning work to the public at a venue that will give the winner a high level of visibility.
